Banjo Lessons

The Napa School of Music is the number one banjo lessons program in the North Bay, CA

(Ages five and up)

Overview:

Our banjo instructors teach pop, indie rock, bluegrass to jazz styles. Beginners work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory. Each lesson will challenge you with a new technique or music theory, and ends with something fun – such as your favorite riff or song.

 

We employ a variety of banjo method books based on student needs and preferences, and encourage students to bring smartphones or CDs to their lessons to learn their favorite tunes.

Do I need to purchase a banjo to learn the instrument?

The Academy offers banjos for student lessons (for your convenience, students can use one of ours at their first lesson)to practice at home, you will need a banjo.

Are there bass recitals?‍

Absolutely! Every January and June, our students have the opportunity to perform at the Napa School of Music Recitals Event. You can invite all of your family and friends.

Pricing: $46.00 / 30 minutes Lessons are available five days a week, and scheduled once a week.

 

The annual family registration fee is $55.
