About Garage Band 101

Created by NSM Director, Peter Sykes, Garage Band 101 is a 11-week rock band program that takes participants through the process of learning and rehearsing in their own band.

Each rehearsal is a 90-minute session, once a week, that is overseen by one of our experienced instructors, who are also seasoned performers themselves.

At the end of the session, the musicians perform in a rock concert attended by family, friends and the general public.

This is not a program suitable for complete beginners. Please feel free to call the school to schedule an audition if you are not sure whether your child is ready to participate.

Tuition is $135 per month.

A $40 registration fee may be applicable for participants that are not currently registered with the school.

The next Garage Band 101 concert will be on Saturday, February 21st, 2009.  Venue TBA.  Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. The concert is open to the general public.
